Inside Batman CRT

This CRT is very popular among retro enthusiasts. It is well built - on the outside, but poor quality components used inside are not that hard to miss once you open it. The tube used in this CRT is also not the best, unlike the Orion tubes used in the Mickey Mouse and Princess CRTs. Another notable feature of this set is the S-Video input at the back.

This set also has stereo speakers, which is not common for a 13" set.

When I got the set and powered it on, it worked, however I noticed the composite input sometimes had syning issues. So, I took it apart, cleaned it and changed the capacitors. After all of it, the CRT worked just like it should.

Caps replacement

When I opened the CRT, it was begging for a cap replacement. Several caps on this CRT were leaking. It's no suprise, as these no-name brand caps were an eye sore. The type you would find on AliExpress or eBay!

Warning

Never buy your caps from AliExpress or eBay..! Lots of fakes and low quality caps there.
